Welcome to Carrickfergus Garden Society
The Society was established in 1955 to encourage amateur gardeners to improve and extend the cultivation of all horticultural subjects. This is achieved by holding meetings, exhibitions, lectures and other events throughout the year.
Meetings and Events
From October 2007 the Society will hold its meetings in St. Colman's Church Hall, Larne Road, Carrickfergus on the second Thursday of each month.
Visitors and new members are always welcome.
As well as the normal programme of meetings the Society runs many additional events such as day and evening outings to visit private gardens, a Plant Sale in May, and a Flower Show in August.
